Sylvia and Andy, are a traditional Chinese couple, who were married at the famous location site of Casaloma, in Toronto. The bride is pictured with her corset flowing gown, decorated with lace, surrounded by her loved ones. The gown that is worn by the bride, is a princess style dress, depicting a traditional ball gown wedding. NG Studio was able to take beautiful picturesque photographs of the bride’s veil flowing in the wind, while they share a passionate kiss. The bride also wore a beautiful crown, symbolizing her important status, on such an important day.
Covering A Traditional Chinese Tea Wedding Ceremony
The bride and groom are originally from China, but they both grew up and lived their lives in Canada. The day began, with the bride wearing a traditional Chinese gown, while engaging in the famous ‘tea party’ tradition, in Chinese culture. The Chinese gown is red and gold, symbolic colors in the Chinese culture. The color red, represents joy and happiness, and the color gold represents wisdom and quality. NG Studio was proud to take such important photographs of the couple’s tea ceremony, as they dedicate their selves to one another, and join one another’s family. The tea ceremony, is symbolic as it represents the joining of two different families, where each family joins as one. The bridal party wore beautiful princess style dresses, silver in color, bringing together the beautiful décor and design for this special day.
Casaloma, is known as being the majestic castle, located right in downtown Toronto. This is a premier space, with over 350,000 visitors, each and every year. This castle was constructed in the 1900’s, with the main floor boasting over sixty-foot-high ceilings. The famous library located within the castle is a focal point, with Sir Pellatt’s Coat of Arms, painted on ceiling. The numerous books and bookcases within this room, provide a homely feel, so that all guests can experience a few moments of serenity. The feel of this landmark is completely European, decorated with elegance. The bride and groom also had a dynamic and creative wedding planner, from Fleur Weddings. Their planner utilized wonderful techniques to design beautiful flower arrangements, surrounding the bride and groom during their ceremony.
The first set of photographs taken by NG Studio, were at Knox College, a University of Toronto Campus, located in Toronto. Knox College is a historic site, that was created in the 1800’s, and is now recognized as being a campus of the famous University of Toronto, one of the largest Universities within the greater Toronto area. NG Studio took some beautiful memorable photographs, of the bride and groom reading cards they wrote to one another, the day of their wedding. This moment will be one they will remember forever.
